microservice-based software for intelligent building automation

the main objective of the work is to deliver the continuous update of the ki-based building automation system WICKIE M to all customer systems via the internet without human intervention. the developed system enables the execution and deployment of the various software components for intelligent building automation systems. by using the orchestration tool kubernetes and the software portainer in combination with a python program, wickie m can be executed and automatically updated on different systems. the results of this work provide a valuable basis for the automated distribution of updates of wickie m. this method can now be integrated into the production environment to make the update process efficient and reliable. in addition, the knowledge gained can be transferred to other products of mrm² automatisierungstechnik gmbh and further developed.
