artificial intelligence and the internet of things

a topic that we have also been working on for some time!

our team in the development phase uses artificial intelligence to predict individual user behavior and uses this to control the heating system. this enables significant energy savings to be achieved.

for the prediction of user behavior, a data set is first created by recording the presence in a room. the data set enables the training of the artificial intelligence and the subsequent prediction of the recorded time series. the predicted user behavior can be compared with the installed sensors during the runtime by evaluation and comparison. this makes it possible for the first time to ensure optimal control behavior of the heating system both depending on the prediction and depending on the actual values.

the concept and the applied method are to be used for the first time in a building currently under construction using artificial intelligence. the savings potential compared to conventional control methods, such as time switching, has been demonstrated in various simulations. it is intended to be the first implementation of intelligent heating control in building automation and the basis for further developments and research for the benefit of people and the environment in the coming years.
