the basis for the WICKIE M system is a codesys-based control platform and a building bus system that uses WICKIE M as a communication interface between actuators and sensors. the system's intelligence is based on time series forecasts using a neural network. machine learning algorithms collect the collected data in a database, recognize patterns in the data, constantly update the calculation models and generate the predictions.
strongperformance
the use of WICKIE M saves up to 25% energy. for intelligent, energy-saving room climate control, data on room use is collected via the sensors of the building bus system. air conditioning, shading, light and presence in the room communicate via a building bus system with WICKIE M. the actuators are only controlled when required in accordance with the room usage forecast. synchronization with the actual presence in the room is ensured.
data on energy use, but also weather forecasts form further foundations for optimal energy-efficient control of all producers. a connection to building management systems is possible here as well as the introduction of renewable energy sources such as solar thermal energy or photovoltaics. WICKIE M can work completely locally, but for larger buildings and larger amounts of data, a cloud solution is recommended, to which the system can quickly be adapted.
